As the effect of a pandemic sent the whole world into lockdown, we have all learned a lesson in slowing down and appreciating the small things in life, to savour each moment and consider each small action we take more carefully.
With this in mind, shooting in honest black and white 35mm film on a 60 year old Russian FED3 Soviet-era range-finder camera, with no electronics, no post-processing and only 36 frames to work with, seemed like the perfect way to document how the some of main streets of Edinburgh looked at the height of the lock-down.
