A trip that was both a sequel and prequel to other adventures this trip was our first return to Europe after first finding our travelling feet two years prior on our original European adventure.  We were excited to visit Europe again but instead of playing tourist in the big cities this time we had found a yearning to get to see the quieter places and bigger landscapes after visiting New Zealand’s south island and also finding a strange attraction to the colder and sometimes a little less friendly weather.

Whilst this post does feature some epic landscapes images it is very much a trip diary and street style documentary of our travels and presented in some more low-key tones which I feel capture the light, atmosphere and moods we felt in this landscapes which felt immensely foreign and sometimes desolate but also comforting and exhilarating.  We also were part of an extra special moment with some new friends we met along the way- we didn’t know it at the time but this became the catalyst for our next big adventure!
