Worlds collide would be the best way to describe this post- when my two biggest obsessions meet for instance. Anyone who has followed my work for a while would know that I am a bit of a petrol-head, so it won’t come as a shock that I love to take photos of cars too.
Anyhow, that bit about worlds colliding also applies to my subjects for this shoot- Showcased, an event hosted by the-lowdown.com on the rooftop at the Entertainment Quarter, in Moore Park, Sydney. This event promised to be a melting pot of different car cultures meeting in one unique location. It certainly delivered, as did Sydney’s unreliable winter weather, the show basked in a warm winter glow before a heavy sunset.
It was nice to approached by many of the owners of the cars I photographed, if anyone is after shots of their own vehicles or want more photos taken please drop me a line at: lensflarephoto@hotmail.com.au, i’d be only too happy to help!
Should be seeing plenty more of these at events in the near future. The new Toyota 86.
MXBOSS is possibly the toughest MX5 I have ever laid eyes on.
Next time I’m lying on the concrete, don’t question why!
RC Drift bandits took the event by storm! These pint sized weapons drew as much attention as their full sized counterparts. And it’s easy to see why- they look just as amazing and whenever I looked they were driving 110% sideways.
So tough!

In my eyes Zomoya’s stunning Evo stole the show.
